Arizona Fun Facts On these pages we will attempt to provide you with some of the funny "insights" into the southwest areas of Arizona. We will include various information points, but done with a sense of humor. For example, the U.S. - Mexican border is on region which should never have to worry about an invasion by parachutists. It would be hard to choose a territory in the world less suited for haphazard dropping into. North of the Mexican border is the "cactus belt " of the United States, where nearly every native plant, even the lily, comes armed with needles, knives or swords. No, the Mexican borderland is definitely not the bet strategic spot for setting down, via parachute or otherwise. It isn't even advisable to bend over, without first looking behind you!
